We went out on Sunday with a friend and did Week 4, Day 1 of the Zenlabs C210km app. Today we went out and did Week 4 Day 2. The first day felt hard, but not as hard as today. I cannot feel my calves! Roland also did not want to focus today and stopped to eat deer poo! Yuck.
We did however, manage to complete the programme. According to my fitbit we ran 2.09 miles. Not bad for a start! My pace was slow, but it included the walking too, so again I am not too worried. My main worries lie with Week 5!
For information Week 4 is: five minute warm up, run 3 minutes, walk 90 seconds, run 5 minutes, walk 2.5 minutes, run 3 minutes walk 90 seconds then run 5 minutes.
I feel I am pacing myself better and the runs end sooner than expected, so that is all good.
My aim over Easter is to just keep going, keep running, keep training. By the end of next week, I should be on Week 6! Running for 8 whole minutes! ARGH!!!!
Just for record, after a run, my glasses slide down my face. If someone could invent anti-sweat glasses, it would help my selfies look a bit more normal.
